GENTLE YOGA (Y) - A gentle and authenitic yoga class honoring the traditional Raja yoga of India. This class offers basic yoga postures, gentle flowing sequences, mind body awareness techniques and breathing and relaxation exercises. A gentle class for all levels which will leave you feeling refreshed, more flexible, relaxed and positive. No prior yoga experience needed and all levels of fitness welcome, including pre/ post natal, seniors, over-worked athletes, over-stressed professionals and those who just feel they need an hour to calm their bodies and minds. Mat required.
DIAMOND DANCE FIT - This is a safe, heart-healthy low impact aerobics class that is exhilarating, effective, gentle on the joints and will burn a ton of calories. The workout includes easy-to-follow movements to great music that is sure to energize your active lifestyle. Chairs available.
PLATINUM PILATES - This is gentle & non-impact class incorporates pilates principles that will help you find and strengthen your deep core muscles while building the foundation for a strong back. You will build concentration, center the body and mind, and create body awareness while getting stronger and more agile. This workout will reduce stress and leave you feeling centered and calm. Mat required.
PLATINUM POWER - This strength training class will help prevent loss of bone mass, builds muscle, and improves balance—both important in staying active and preventing risk of falling. With the use of hand weight, resistance bands and weighted balls, we help you build up strength to make day-to-day activities easier. Chairs available. Mat Required.
SILVER CIRCUIT - This class gives you everything your body needs: low impact aerobics, agility training, strength, toning, flexibility, balance and coordination. Working at your own pace and with a variety of gym equipment (kettlebells, bosu, medicine balls and more), you will be taken through various timed exercise stations that will work the entire body. Class ends with stretching, and relaxation exercises. Chairs available. Mat Required.
SILVER SERENITY - Yoga for seniors is a gentle class incorporating a range of movement exercises, strengthening, stretching, mind body awareness, breathing and relaxation to refresh, energize, improve posture and develop a sense of well being. This class honors the traditional authentic yoga whose roots date back thousands of years. Can be taught on a chair or mat according to level of comfort. Mat and blanket required.
